I have done several things for community service. I have done recycling with the recycle club. I have also done Step out and Serve, which was cleaning, and the pulling of weeds. I have also gone with my class to Redwood Grove where we cleaned the paths.
| I have made a deference on all my community service projects. I have helped people less fortunate then me, clean up and refertilize the soil that use to plant. I also helped the enviroment with recycling. This kept the school nice and clean. Without us, would be filled with trash. This is what the planet might look like if we all recycled. | |
I have learned that money is not everything and you can be happy from other things, like helping the community. I have also learned that people can be happy from the littlest things that may seem insignicant to others yet the most important thing to them. I discovered that everybody has there good sides and that you should help them even though you might recent them or there actions. I have concluded one other thing. This is, that everyone should recycle to make the Earth a better place.
If you are planning on doing Community service like I am then you can do two. One way to get involved with Magik, the place I went for step out and serve, is by going into the phone book and looking them up. You can recycle by getting a recycling bin for your house and recycling materials that are recyclable. If you want to recycle at Los Altos High School, join the Enviromental club.
